About Spirit of Scotland Tours
Spirit of Scotland was born of a love and desire to show all the best of Scotland with our guests. With years of experience guiding and organising all sorts of tours, our experience tells us that often the best tours are when our clients come to us with an idea of what they would like to do and places they would like to visit on their tour of Scotland. For that reason Spirit of Scotland are becoming specialists in creating fully customised, guided and escorted tours of Scotland, with the emphasis on what you, our guests to Scotland really want.
We will tailor your tour of Scotland according to the size and requirements of your party. We have covered most requests including 70th birthday parties, Art and Drama student trips, activity based family holidays, with clients from USA, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Uruguay, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Canada, France, Ireland, England and Scotland.
Since 2005, when Simon first began tour guiding for Wild in Scotland, taking small groups to the Outer Hebrides and Orkney he has since gained a wealth of experience working across the spectrum, from guiding day tours with Heart of Scotland, specialist whisky tours to Islay with Scottish Routes, and walking and trekking tours with the international tour operator, Explore! He is a qualified First Aider and would like to gain his Mountains Leader Qualification.
Our friends, colleagues and associates involved with Spirit of Scotland Tours all share a common interest, a love and passion for Scotland. All tours are organised by Simon himself as well as most of the guiding. So whether you are looking for someone to guide you on an extended tour through the Scottish Highlands and Islands, reveal what makes our Single Malt Whisky the finest in the world, help you hike the West Highland Way, or you've always dreamt of sailing the Caledonian Canal or the West Coast, we'll ensure you have the holiday of a lifetime here in bonnie Scotland.
Spirit of Scotland is a fully Scottish owned and managed tour operator based in East Lothian. We endeavour to support other small, independantly run businesses who, like us, are dependant on our mutual cooperation. We aim to minimise our impact on the environment and promote sustainable tourism. We also try and support a number of local special events around Scotland throughout the year, such as local galas and festivals which not only helps to support the fragile rural economies but also enhances your experience of Scotland..
